Information Privacy Policy
Protecting your privacy is important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how SoTru collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our site.
I. Information Collected
We collect customer billing, shipping and product ordering information. This is the basic the information necessary to perform our accounting and display your on-line receipt. We also use it to plan our inventory and promotions to better match our customer’s needs.
II. Who sees the information collected?
We keep your information in complete confidentiality! We do not share or sell your information or share it with any outside organization (affiliates/subsidiaries/partner/individual/organizations working on our behalf are not considered outside organizations).
III. Customer Inquiries
We take your privacy seriously. Any customer inquiry should be directed to info@sotru.com where it will be promptly answered.
IV. Credit Card Safety
Protecting the safety of your credit card information is important to us.
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. SSL is the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, which is a fancy way of saying that it’s a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our website’s servers.
We also DO NOT store your credit card number or the expiration date or the CVV2/CID on our servers. The credit card is forwarded through the encrypted SSL layer to our credit cart transaction processor. Their site is protected by layers of firewall, security systems and a full time staff of security expert.
In order to assist you when you call to inquire about a particular transaction, we store only the last 4 digits of the card number and the type of cart (visa/mc/amex). This minimal information is enough to help you identify which credit card you used to pay for a purchase without any compromise on the security of your credit card information.
V. Bank or credit card company liability
Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank or credit card company cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of unauthorized or fraudulent charges on a credit card. Your liability for unauthorized use of a debit card may be higher, but most debit card issuers voluntarily apply the $50 limit to their cards as well. For more information on the Fair Credit Billing Act you can visit:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Credit_Billing_Act
Remember: If unauthorized use of your credit or debit card does occur, you must notify your card provider, in accordance with the agreement you have with the company.
STRESS FREE HOLIDAYS
The “happiest time of the year” is here. The Holiday season brings family members together, smiles to little ones faces, parties and celebrations galore. However, tagging along with all the fun is the seasonal stress of the endless to-do lists; shopping sprees for loved ones, preparing for parties, in-town relatives and keeping up with family customs… it can all take a toll on your health if you don’t slow it down. Staying Focused During the Holidays
So it’s that time of the year again. Most of us have a million and one things going on, and our brains forgot to mentally prepare us for the holidays. It seems like we ring in the New Year one second, and the next thing you know another one has flown by! Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and pies are right before us. For some of you, it’s just another season passing by. But for most of us, it is another season full of social gatherings, sweet temptations, last minute cocktail parties, and shopping deals that can leave you waiting in line all day long! READ MORE
Standing out from the Rest!
I don’t know if you take your vitamins or not, but I really believe that they help fill in the gaps to my sometimes not-so-great eating habits (restaurant reviewing doesn’t always entail a ton of vegetables and healthy lean proten).
But not all vitamins are created equal. That’s why I like SoTru. Their products are high quality, yet affordable. They also don’t work with third parties, so they are hands on throughout the process. READ MORE
Protect Yourself
October is breast awareness month, as you most likely know, due to the overwhelming use of the color pink in everything from sports uniforms, tennis rackets and golf balls to yogurt cups, bottled water and just about any other consumer item you can find. It’s the time that we celebrate those we love who have won the battle and remember those we’ve lost. It’s a time to walk miles to raise money and wear silly bracelets that spell out “I love boobies” to show we care.
