Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how SoTru collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our site.

  1. Information Collected

We collect customer billing, shipping and product ordering information. This is the basic information necessary to perform our accounting and display your on-line receipt. We also use it to plan our inventory and promotions to better match our customer’s needs.

  1. Who sees the information collected?

We keep your information in complete confidentiality! We do not share or sell your information or share it with any outside organization (affiliates/subsidiaries/partner/individual/organizations working on our behalf are not considered outside organizations).

III. Customer Inquiries

We take your privacy seriously. Any customer inquiry should be directed to info@www.sotru.com where it will be promptly answered or call our customer service department at 800-713-2480.

  1. Credit Card Safety

Protecting the safety of your credit card information is important to us.

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. SSL is the gold standard in Internet encryption technology, which is a fancy way of saying that it’s a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our website’s servers.

We also DO NOT store your credit card number or the expiration date or the CVV2/CID on our servers. The credit card is forwarded through the encrypted SSL layer to our credit cart transaction processor. Layers of firewall, security systems and a full time staff of security expert protect their site.

In order to assist you when you call to inquire about a particular transaction, we store only the last 4 digits of the card number and the type of cart (visa/mc/amex). This minimal information is enough to help you identify which credit card you used to pay for a purchase without any compromise on the security of your credit card information.

  1. Bank or credit card company liability

Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank or Credit Card Company cannot hold you liable for more than $50 of unauthorized or fraudulent charges on a credit card. Your liability for unauthorized use of a debit card may be higher, but most debit card issuers voluntarily apply the $50 limit to their cards as well. For more information on the Fair Credit Billing Act you can visit:

Remember: If unauthorized use of your credit or debit card does occur, you must notify your card provider, in accordance with the agreement you have with the company.
