It’s the month of gratitude as we think about all we are thankful for and celebrate Thanksgiving. It’s the perfect time to really focus on all the little things we tend to take for granted and appreciate them with a new sense of appreciation.
We are entering into the holiday season and often our focus on health goes out the window. No more bathing suit weather; we now have cozy sweaters to cover up our figure and all the delicious treats around every corner, from pumpkin spice lattes to Halloween candy, also don’t help. It can be easy to think, “I’ll just give in and start fresh for New Years.” This is what leads to the nation wide weight gain at the end of the year and also is a huge contributor as to why so many of us get sick in the fall and winter months.
We are heading into a new season and with it comes a new way of taking care of our health. The Holidays are soon to be here with many sweet temptations that lead to the typical weight gain this time of year. Let’s take control of our health now, committing to be healthy by eating right, moving our body, and having fun while doing it! Let’s get Fit For Fall!
